We want you to be the change you wish to see.

Transforming the way we relate to the world

We are a collective who provide relational education and support for divesting from whiteness. As decolonial practitioners, we insist on practicing decoloniality and living otherwise. We support and steward clients by providing workshops, trainings, mentorship, and more. We support our clients to connect with other forms of existence that destabilises hierarchical power towards the undoing of colonial logic.

A decolonial approach

We categorically do not provide Equity, Diversity & Inclusion trainings.

Instead, it’s essential for us that our clients are able to locate themselves in relation to whiteness and recalibrate themselves in relation to Blackness. We highlight the cyclical nature of knowledge, interpersonal and institutional practice, and social justice action.

By doing so, we aspire to instill the practice of routing out the cultural imperialism of white supremacy and how it sustains the status quo across disciplines and areas of society. Ultimately, we seek to impart our devotion to it’s undoing towards a relational way of living.

Sophia Kaur

  • To locate myself, I am a mid-30s June Gemini born and raised on Matinecock land (so-called New York City). In 2019, I moved to Alba (Scotland) to join my Caledonii (so-called Pictish) partner, with whom I’ve shared a connection since 2004.

Born to Punjabi Sikhs who fled State violence in 1982, I consider myself in exile, piecing together a history too traumatic for my family to speak of. I am racialized as Brown, pathologized as ‘mad’ and an AuDHDer, and gendered as a woman. I navigate the intersections of colorism, casteism, features sexism, and ageism, while challenging the colonial logic that attempts to define me.

Guided by my ancestors—of blood and veneration—I practice disrupting colonial logic and steward others navigating their own disruptive journeys. My ambition is to serve as an auntie to communities meeting me at the margins, creating spaces for liberation and healing to flourish.

Academically, I hold degrees in Paralegal Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, Social Work, and International Relations. I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Glasgow, exploring coloniality through the lens of trauma, silence, and (in)security. My work connects structural violence to its interpersonal replications, offering pathways to unearth and transform colonial logic within ourselves.
