Plutonian Consulting offers 1:1 coaching for people in helping professions — social workers, therapists, psychologists, doctors, nurses, teachers, community workers, and others whose work involves sustained care for others.
The work is depth-first. It is not a crisis intervention service, a clinical treatment, or a supervision framework. It is a space for helpers who are ready to go beneath the surface of what isn't working to look at patterns, history, and the accumulated weight of a life spent in service to others.
If you are in acute crisis or require clinical support, I can help you identify appropriate services. Please do get in touch.

The initial consultation is a single 60-minute session. It is the natural starting point for anyone considering working with Plutonian Consulting.
This session is an opportunity to bring what you're carrying, explore whether this kind of work is what you need, and get a sense of what working together might look like.
By the end of the session, you will have a clearer picture of where you are, what might be underneath it, and whether ongoing coaching feels like the right next step. There is no expectation that it will — the initial consultation stands alone as its own thing.

For those ready to commit to a sustained period of depth work, ongoing 1:1 coaching offers a dedicated space across a defined number of sessions.
Sessions are led by where you are. There is no fixed curriculum or no programme to follow. The work is shaped by what you bring which changes week to week, and which is allowed to.
What remains consistent is the orientation: we are always moving toward what is underneath. The patterns you didn't choose. The weight that accumulated before you had language for it. The version of yourself that existed before the institution got hold of you.
This is not quick work. It is not designed to be. It is designed to be honest, rigorous, and useful — the kind of support that doesn't just get you through the next month but begins to shift something more fundamental.

Here is what the process looks like, step by step.
1. Get in touch
Send an email or fill in the enquiry form with a brief note about where you are and what you're looking for. You don't need to have this perfectly articulated — a rough sense of it is enough.
2. A brief conversation
Before booking, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This is a chance to ask any questions, get a sense of whether the fit feels right, and decide whether to go ahead. There is no pressure in either direction.
3. Book your initial consultation
If the introductory call feels right, we book the initial 60-minute consultation. You will receive a confirmation with everything you need including the link or dial-in details, and a note on what to expect.
4. The initial consultation
We meet. You bring what you're carrying. We work. By the end, you will have a clearer sense of where you are and what, if anything, you'd like to do next.
5. Ongoing work (if you'd like it)
If ongoing consultation feels like the right next step, we discuss which package suits your situation and agree a rhythm that works. If it doesn't feel right, that's fine too. The initial consultation is always complete in itself.

Plutonian Consulting operates on a sliding scale. This means that fees are set in conversation, based on your financial situation, rather than at a fixed rate for everyone.
The sliding scale exists because the helpers who most need this work are often not the ones most financially able to access it. Social workers, community nurses, teaching assistants, early years educators — the people doing some of the hardest work in our institutions.
I want this to be accessible to everyone in the helping profession. Not as charity, but as a straightforward recognition that your ability to pay should not determine whether you can get support.
How the sliding scale works
When you enquire, I'll ask you to give me a sense of your financial situation. Not in detail, just enough to agree a fee that is fair for both of us. There is no means-testing and no documentation required. I trust you to be honest, and I'll be honest in return.
Initial consultation fees begin at $150 and scale from there.
Ongoing package fees are agreed individually.
If cost is a barrier, please say so. I would rather find a way to make it work than have you not reach out at all.
-
If any of this feels like what you've been looking for — or even if you're not sure yet — I'd encourage you to reach out. An enquiry is just a conversation.
